Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Mit dir stehen die Sekunden

:iconaloiis:
Wheeere did you go?
:iconkatzebar:
I fell off the face of the Earth. I'm back now, though.

Kind of busy writing bad fiction nowadays; I've had a revelation about my talent (or lack thereof) in drawing.
:iconaloiis:
What kind of fiction?
:iconkatzebar:
I put a piece up that floats that odd gap of magical realism and science fiction, though I personally would have put it into the same existential literature Franz Kafka was so proud of.

Right now I'm working on a fantasy novel, but I'm really trying to write it in a way that those estranged or otherwise disinclined to read fantasy would actually want to pick it up. I've always felt that fantasy's lack of appeal for a broader audience, and it's thematic weaknesses come from authors having more of a preoccupation with the setting and its history rather than actually trying to say something of value.

...Or maybe I'm just taking things (and myself) a little too seriously. =P
:iconaloiis:
I don't know about the latter, but you're making sense anyway. :)
